Are you a sex blogger that has a sensitive twat and loves cute cuddly animals?
Okay, how about just someone with delicate genitalia and loves those furry critters?
More like you? Great!
Little Lubricant Side Story…
A few weeks back I happened to stumble upon some articles on animal testing in the lubricant industry while looking for information on more natural lubricant alternatives.
My girly junk is easily angered and this just seemed like the perfect topic to spend the day Googling.
The accusations that lit up my screen about what some companies do to little fluffy butts broke my heart.
But… do I know that these statements made are entirely correct? Nope!
Why? Because I haven’t seen any evidence first hand. I have not been invited to walk a lab and see the test subjects.
For all I know the scientists assigned to test the animals could be wining and dining the fluffballs and having them sign bunny-sized consent forms before lubing them up.
Somehow, though- I’m doubting it. I’m just saying I’m not privy to all the facts.
All I know is my vagina is sensitive and the articles insulted my sensibilities.
So with no further ado… I give you lubricants I’ve tested that are easy on my dangly bits and aren’t tested on bitty rabbit genitalia!
(Insert Crowd Cheering Noises).

Wicked Sensual Care
Aqua Sensitive (4oz.)

Aqua Sensitive was gentle on my junk. I came away with zero irritation.
I did find it to be a more thin and runny lubricant than I would like.
It didn’t dry oily, but a similar feeling. My partner compared it to having Pam baking spay on you skin afterward.
Ingredients: Water, Propylene Glycol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe), Leaf Extract, Allantoin, Olea Europaea (Olive) Leaf Extract, Cellulose Gum, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Tetrasodium EDTA, Citric Acid, Diazolidinyl Urea, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate.
Type: Water-Based
Cruelty-Free: Yes
Latex Friendly: Yes
Silicone Sex Toy Safe: Yes
Consistency: This was thin and runny but there was no need to reapply during a quickie.
Smell: This one actually had a slight diaper rash cream scent to it, but it was so faint that you have to hold it to your nose to notice. We did not notice while using.
Taste: I’m guessing this is not meant to be tasted. The only flavor it could be described is would be Blahh! Obviously not all lubes are supposed to go in your yap.
Other Noteworthy Tid-Bits:
- It was created with sensitive skin in mind.
- PH Balanced
- Glycerin and Paraben Free
- Made in the USA
Jo Organic
Naturalove With Chamomile (1oz.)

Jo organic lubricant smells nice and was… just alright. I didn’t like how often we had to reapply and it’s gooeyness…
But it didn’t irritate my most sensitive area.
I also noticed that the clear cap got a bit funky looking early on.
Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Chamomilla Recutita Flower Extract, Tequilana Azul (Agave) Leaf Extract, Flavor (Aroma), Carrageenan, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Extract, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Fruit Extract, Juniperus Communis Fruit Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract.
Type: Water-Based, Organic
Cruelty-Free: Yes
Latex Friendly: Yes
Silicone Sex Toy Safe: Yes
Consistency: Goopy jelly? It just had a congealed consistency that I didn’t care for.
Smell: Sweet, like warm vanilla
Taste: Slight vanilla taste, but not great. I would not recommend for oral even though it smells good.
Other Noteworthy Tid-Bits:
- USDA Organic Ingredients.
- Paraben, Glycerin, and Glycol Free.
- Made in the USA.
Divine 9
Made with Carrashield (8 oz.)

Divine 9 is a lubricant crafted using what the company refers to as carrageenan- a blend of sea algae extracts. They are currently in the process of studying it’s ability to prevent HPV.
However, it is not FDA approved and I’m in no way reviewing it other than an average lubricant.
That being said… I was not really impressed.
It say that Divine 9 “evaporates cleanly”. That is absolutely true, but it would be nice if it stuck around long enough to fulfill its intended purpose.
Ingredients: Purified Water, Sea Algae Extract (Carrageenan), Propylene Glycol, Saccharin, Citric Acid.
Type: Water-Based
Cruelty-Free: Yes
Latex Friendly: Yes
Silicone Sex Toy Safe: Yes
Consistency: Very thin and runny. This lube had to be reapplied many, many times throughout our testing sessions. However, it didn’t leave me sticky at all. Almost like it was never there.
Smell: A light, clean scent. Pleasant.
Taste: What one may think a sweet, lightly scented hand soap may taste like. Licking is not recommended.
Other Noteworthy Tid-Bits:
- The bottle notes that it contains a patented plant-based virus blocking formula.
Wicked Sensual Care
Blueberry Muffin (2 oz.)

Although I’m not a diehard fan of flavored lube this one was more than tolerable. It added a bit of sweet-tasting fun without leaving my twat annoyingly sticky.
If you are one who enjoys flavored body parts during foreplay Wicked Blueberry Muffin may be your new jam. I would definitely say give it a go.
Ingredients: Water(Aqua), Glycerin, Cellulose Gum, Olea Europea (Olive) Leaf Extract, Stevia Rebudiana Extract, Hydroxyethylcelose Disodium EDTA, Potassium Benzoate, Citric Acid, Flavor
Type: Flavored Water-Based
Cruelty-Free: Yes
Latex Friendly: Yes
Silicone Sex Toy Safe: Yes
Consistency: Pretty thin and runny like the other Wicked lube.
Smell: This lube easily had the strongest scent. Very much like a blueberry-flavored candy.
Taste: This lubricant’s flavor is very potent. It reminded me of the little jelly blobs of blueberries in blueberry muffins, but not like the muffin itself. This was obviously the best tasting of the bunch and we would recommend for putting a tasty spin on oral.
Using this lube I would be more than happy to have my muffin buttered. 😋 Sorry, I couldn’t resist!
Other Noteworthy Tid-Bits:
- Paraben Free.
- Enhanced with Olive Leaf Extract.
- Made in the USA.
Hathor Original
With Horny Goat Weed (4oz)

Hathor Original is easily a great choice. Thick enough not to slip off your sparkly dildo and on to the sheets or stomach. Wherever you hold it upon squirting, I suppose.
There was no irritation what-so-ever with this lubricant.
Hathor Original is made with aphrodisiacal ingredients to promote arousal while still being gentle on the genitals.
Ingredients: Aqua, Propylene Glycol (Certified Biobased Vegetable), Lactobacillus Ferment, Epimedium Sagittatum (Horny Goat Weed) Extract, Ziziphus Jujuba Fruit Extract, Jydroxy Ethylcellulose (Plant Sourced).
Type: Vegan, Plant-Based
Cruelty-Free: Yes
Latex Friendly: Yes
Silicone Sex Toy Safe: Yes
Consistency: Thick without feeling goopy.
Smell: None
Taste: Bitter, not great, or recommended to lick.
Other Noteworthy Tid-Bits:
- Paraben, Glycerin, and Gluten-Free.
- 100% biodegradable tube with a recyclable cap.
- Made in Canada.
Sutil Rich
With Horny Goat Weed (4 oz.)

Sutil Rich ran slightly (what with gravity being a thing these days), but clung to my boyfriend’s dick far better than the rest.
Rich also didn’t leave my twat in dismay afterwards drying with a well moisturized feeling.
I would say this bottle fulfilled it’s lube destiny.
Infused with ginseng, horny goat weed, and jujuba extracts.
Ingredients: Aqua, Propanediol (Botanical Source), Hyaluronic Acid (Botanical Source), Nelumbo Nucifera Root Water (Lotus Root), Epimedium Sagittatum (Horny Goat Weed) Extract, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Xiyphus Jujuba Fruit Extract, Gluconolactone, Sodium Benzoate.
Type: Water-Based, Botanical
Cruelty-Free: Yes
Latex Friendly: Yes
Silicone Sex Toy Safe: Yes
Consistency: Awesomely thick and sticks to that dick.
Smell: none
Taste: Weird mixture of sweet and bitter with a bad after-taste.
Other Noteworthy Tid-Bits:
- Paraben, Glycerin, and Gluten-Free.
- 100% biodegradable tube with a recyclable cap.
- Made in Canada.
- Eco-Certified.
Sutil Luxe
Luxe (4 oz.)

Sutil Luxe is another reason why I’ve fallen in love with the Hathor/Sutil product lines.
It’s very similar to its companion lubricant, Rich, but just slightly thinner and a bit more glidy-feeling.
Again, no irritation.
Ingredients: Aqua, Propanediol (Botanical Source), Hyaluronic Acid (Botanical Source), Nelumbo Nucifera Root Water (Lotus Root), Sodium Benzoate.
Type: Water-Based, Botanical
Cruelty-Free: Yes
Latex Friendly: Yes
Silicone Sex Toy Safe: Yes
Consistency: Thick, but slightly thinner than Rich.
Smell: None
Taste: Another with a strange mixture of sweet and bitter- complete with a bad after-taste.
Other Noteworthy Tid-Bits:
- Paraben and Glycerin Free.
- Vegan.
- 100% biodegradable tube with a recyclable cap.
- Made in Canada.
- Eco-Certified.
I am in no way a lube ingredient expert. If you would like to be directed to one, I highly recommend taking a look at Dangerous Lilly and her BIG LUBE GUIDE.
She knows her shit.
Which of these lubricants were my favorite?
My partner and I both agree that Sutil Rich was easily both of our favorites.
We love the thicker consistency (without feeling like jelly boogers) and that it stayed where it was needed in stead of running away like the thinner lubricants.

“As a Canadian woman-owned company, it is important to us that our products be kind to both humans and animals; and we are committed to putting deeds behind our words. Since we started our company, our products have never been tested on animals. We use Eco-Certified ingredients that by their very nature must be harm free.”

Conclusion to all of this slippery madness…
Whether you are looking to find a lubricant easier on your pussy or pecker, you want to be positive no furry critters have been unwillingly greased up on your behalf, or simply prefer products with more natural ingredients- I encourage you to take a closer look at the lubes on this list.
